BENGALURU: A man who allegedly posed as a Maoist and is accused of triggering a crude bomb blast in Karnataka was arrested on Tuesday night after nearly a month on the run, police said.Kanakalabande Venkatesh was reportedly hiding in the Kadamalakunte Hills near Pavagada after the crude bomb blast in August.Police had been conducting an intensive search for him for days.Acting on information that Venkatesh was hiding in the hills near Pavagada, police launched a major combing operation in the area.More than 150 police personnel took part in the operation and managed to trace and arrest Venkatesh on Tuesday night.Police are now investigating his alleged role in the blast and his claims of being associated with Maoists.
