Patna: Bihar BJP donated Rs51 lakh and party president Nitin Nabin Rs6.35 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood victims. BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi handed over the cheque to CM Samrat Choudhary on Friday.Saraogi said all BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs in Bihar would contribute one month’s salary to the fund to support relief and rehabilitation. He said party representatives and workers would assist flood-affected families and help the administration ensure relief reached those in need.“Every BJP worker stands with affected families during this time of disaster,” Saraogi said, describing assistance to flood victims as a collective responsibility.Nabin’s contribution of Rs6.35 lakh is equivalent to three months of his salary as a Rajya Sabha MP. Saraogi said the party would continue its service-oriented efforts to support affected families.
