Ranchi: Police have arrested two autorickshaw drivers for allegedly robbing a passenger of Rs 22,000, a mobile phone and documents on Sept 10. The accused, Moni Singh and Chiku Kumar Yadav, were apprehended with the help of office-bearers of the autorickshaw drivers’ association, police said on Monday. Mohammad Anzaar Ahmad, who had returned from Gaya, boarded an autorickshaw around 9 pm to travel home. Police said Moni and Chiku took him to a deserted spot in Harmu, threatened him with a knife and fled with his belongings. The cash and mobile phone were recovered.
