Ballari: Minister T Raghumurthy indirectly hit out at the BJP, saying criticism was common in a democracy, but personal attacks and remarks had increased in Ballari district. Public representatives should not forget that they were ‘in a glass house’, he said while addressing reporters after the flag-hoisting ceremony for Kalyana Karnataka Day at Municipal College ground here on Thursday. “Anyone from the ruling party or the opposition should not target individuals while criticising others. Constitutional language should be used,” Raghumurthy said, and alleged that BJP’s recent padayatra witnessed personal criticism throughout its course.
