Patna: The state cabinet on Monday cleared the govt’s proposal to create ‘Vishisht Vishwavidyalaya’ (Special University) in the state, a high-level source said.He said following the clearance of the proposal, the govt would move a Bill in this regard in the state assembly for its passage and enactment into an Act. The proposed legislation will empower the govt to establish a Special University.Further, in pursuance of the Centre’s advisory on prison reforms, the cabinet also cleared the proposal for framing rules related to the categorisation of criminals. Overall, the cabinet gave its nod to around 11 proposals.
