Varanasi: Traffic police on Wednesday issued diversions for Thursday’s visit of defence minister Rajnath Singh, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.Autos and e-rickshaws will be barred from 9 am to 3 pm on routes including Police Line, Sigra, Rath Yatra, Lahurabir, Maidagin and Cantt-BHU stretches. Four-wheelers, buses and goods vehicles will face restrictions around Maidagin, Godowlia, Rajghat and VVIP movement zones. Airport-bound traffic will be diverted from 1 pm until the programme ends.Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes for their destinations.
