New Delhi: Five people, including two women, have been arrested in connection with the murder of an e-rickshaw driver in Sector 28, Rohini. A knife allegedly used in the crime, along with the vehicles involved and blood-stained clothes, has also been recovered. The arrested have been identified as Anuj (19), Himanshu (21), Sachin (22), Nandini Tiwari (19) and Kunti (18).The incident took place on the night of Sept 12 following a minor collision between a motorcycle and a scooty.Police sources said Abhishek intervened in an argument that followed the collision. During the altercation, Himanshu allegedly got into a physical fight with Abhishek, who slapped him and caught hold of his neck. Anuj caught Abhishek from behind, while Sachin alias Santosh took out a knife and stabbed him. Abhishek was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Nandini and Kunti were present with the group at the time of the incident. The three male accused are residents of Shahbad, while the two women are from Jahangirpuri, police added.
