On Sunday afternoon, a fire broke out at a wooden godown in the Dallupura area of Delhi, prompting the dispatch of 16 fire tenders to manage the situation.
NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a godown storing wooden items in east Delhi’s Dallupura area on Sunday, an officer of the Delhi Fire Service said.The DFS received a call regarding the blaze at 3.29 pm, following which 16 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The officer said that no one has received any burn injuries so far.Firefighting operations are currently underway, he said.Further details about the cause of the fire are awaited.“DFS is working to bring the blaze under control,” the officer said.(With inputs from PTI)
