GT Devegowda will contest the 2028 state assembly election from Chamundeshwari.
MYSURU: Disgruntled JD(S) MLA GT Devegowda on Thursday announced that he will contest the 2028 state assembly election from Chamundeshwari constituency.Speaking at a Ganeshotsava event in the constituency, he announced that till he has the blessings of the god and the people, he will be in active politics.But he didn’t elaborate from which party he will contest.This comes after the regional party’s state unit chief and Union minister HD Kumaraswamy asserted that the party will not allot a ticket to Devegowda, accusing him of anti-party activities.
