JAIPUR: Counting of votes for the Jaipur Municipal Corporation began on Monday amid tight security, with officials saying entry to designated counting centres was restricted to authorised persons.Security personnel have been deployed in and around the counting centres as votes for all 150 wards are being counted. Jaipur Municipal Corporation is the state’s largest civic body in the current elections and has more than 24 lakh electors.As of 10.30am, results from 28 of the 150 wards had been declared. The BJP had won 20 wards, while Congress had secured seven.
