MEDCHAL/MALKAJGIRI: At least eight people have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a Class 10 student by nine people under the Alwal police station limits, police said.According to Alwal police, the accused allegedly took the girl with the help of a male friend and sexually assaulted her over a period of three days.Police said eight of the nine accused have been arrested, while efforts are underway to trace the ninth accused, who is absconding.The case has been registered under the Alwal police station limits in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.(With ANI inputs)
