NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain and thunderstorms across several states over the coming days, with Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and parts of Karnataka likely to experience rainfall and gusty winds. Heavy rain is expected in parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala, while Delhi is likely to continue receiving rain.

Delhi weather tomorrow

According to the IMD, Delhi is expected to receive more rain, with the wet spell likely to continue until September 16.

Mumbai weather tomorrow

Mumbai and neighbouring areas are likely to receive further rainfall on Monday, with the IMD forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and strong winds reaching 40-50 kmph in some places.The city is also expected to receive light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday, when idol immersion processions are scheduled to begin.

Odisha weather tomorrow

The IMD has forecast more rain in Odisha over the next 24 hours and advised fishermen not to venture into the sea along and off the Odisha coast during this period.

Andhra Pradesh weather tomorrow

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for isolated pockets across the state over the next 24 hours, with northern coastal districts expected to bear the brunt of the advancing weather system.Northern coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh are likely to experience intense spells of rainfall on Monday.

South India weather tomorrow

The IMD has forecast isolated to scattered rainfall over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal from September 14 to 18.Kerala and Mahe are likely to receive isolated to scattered rainfall from September 16 to 18, while Coastal Karnataka is expected to receive rainfall on September 14 and 15.North Interior Karnataka is likely to see rainfall from September 15 to 18, while Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, South Interior Karnataka and Telangana are likely to receive isolated to scattered rainfall from September 14 to 18.

Thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds

The weather department has forecast isolated thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph, with gusts up to 60 kmph, over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal from September 14 to 16.Similar conditions are likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam from September 14 to 16.Telangana is expected to experience thunderstorms and gusty winds on September 14.

Heavy rainfall forecast

The IMD has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during September 15-16, and over Kerala and Mahe from September 14 to 17.
