Angry MBS’ ‘BIGGEST STRIKE’ On Houthis; F-15 Jets, Typhoon Aircraft Launched to HAMMER Iran Ally
The Houthis claim Saudi warplanes carried out 129 airstrikes across seven Yemeni provinces within 48 hours after the group seized strategic territory overlooking the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. According to the Houthis, Saudi F-15 and Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft targeted areas across Taiz, Marib, Hodeidah, Al-Jawf, Saada, Amran and Hajjah. The number and locations of the reported strikes have not been independently verified, and Riyadh has not issued a detailed operational account. The bombardment follows the Houthi capture of Mokha and Mayun Island, also known as Perim, inside the shipping corridor connecting the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. Approximately 12% of global trade ordinarily passes through the strait. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree has threatened “blockade for blockade,” declaring Saudi vessels prohibited while claiming other shipping remains safe. The escalation risks reigniting Yemen’s civil war and turning the battle for territory into a confrontation over one of the world’s most important energy routes.
